Evolve Staffing Ltd. is recruiting for a Full Time Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to be based in Doddington. This is an ongoing position within the Adult SLT Team, requiring a specialist clinician to provide comprehensive support for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Responsibilities: As a Band 6 SaLT in Doddington, you will be responsible for:

– Specialist Assessment: Evaluating adults with progressive neurological conditions, stroke, and brain injuries.
– Therapeutic Intervention: Implementing treatments for voice disorders and respiratory-related communication needs.
– Dysphagia Management: Leading the assessment of complex swallowing difficulties in various community settings.
– Workforce Development: Supervising clinical assistants and supporting the growth of newly qualified therapists.

The Environment:

You will be part of a team dedicated to reducing waiting lists and improving access to care
Your work will take you into clinics, community hospitals, and care homes, as well as providing home-based therapy for patients in the Doddington area

Requirements:

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC status
Demonstrable experience in Adult Community SLT
Clear enhanced DBS
