Evolve Staffing Ltd. is proud to offer a premier opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist in Cambridge. This Full Time position is situated within the Adult SLT Team, focusing on the delivery of high-quality speech and language services to adults in the community and clinical settings.

Your Role & Caseload: This is a comprehensive clinical role requiring expertise in neuro-rehabilitation and adult communication disorders. You will provide therapy for patients suffering from:

– Stroke and TBI: Intense rehabilitation for acquired brain injuries.
– Dementia and Degenerative Disease: Managing communication and safety for those with progressive conditions.
– Voice & Swallowing: Expert assessment of voice difficulties and complex swallowing disorders.
– Clinical Supervision: You will support the service by delegating tasks to clinical assistants and providing guidance to newly qualified therapists.

Service Delivery:

– The role is essential for tackling the waiting lists in the Cambridge area
– You will be mobile, visiting patients in community hospitals, care homes, and their private residences
– We are looking for a clinician who can hit the ground running and work autonomously within a multidisciplinary framework

Requirements:

– HCPC Registration (Essential)
– Expertise in Adult Dysphagia.
– Enhanced DBS check (Evolve Staffing can assist with this).
