Evolve Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist Neuro Rehab team. This is a vital community based role focused on delivering high-quality, client centered therapy for adults with a stroke diagnosis.

As a senior clinician, you will provide specialist interventions within a multidisciplinary team (MDT), utilizing your expert knowledge of adult neurology to support patients in their own environments.

Key Job Details

– Post Title: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT)
– Schedule: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday preferred—flexible days available)
– Hours: 22.5 hours per week (08:30 – 16:30)
– Start Date: 12th May 2026
– End Date: 4th August 2026

Key Responsibilities & Skills

– Deliver specialist speech and language therapy assessments and treatments for adults with complex neurological needs.
– Manage a caseload specifically focused on stroke rehabilitation and long-term neuro-disability.
– Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy service to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
– Apply specialist knowledge of adult neurology to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
– Operate effectively within community environments, providing home-based or site-specific therapy.

Requirements

– Proven experience as a Band 7 SLT within a neuro-rehab or stroke setting.
– Extensive experience in adult neurology and community health services.
– Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work independently in the community.
– HCPC Registration and relevant professional qualifications.
– Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, carers, and MDT colleagues.
