Are you a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those at the end of their life?

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is currently seeking experienced, empathetic, and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our specialist community team in North Warwickshire. You will be providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients who are nearing the end of their lives, ensuring they remain comfortable and supported in their own homes.

The Role:

Working alongside another dedicated member of our team, you will visit patients within their own homes. This is a sensitive and rewarding role where your primary focus is on dignity, comfort, and emotional support for both the patient and their grieving families. You must be comfortable working in environments where you will support patients through their final stages of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality personal care to patients in the community.

  • Providing specialist end-of-life (palliative) care with kindness and professionalism.

  • Offering emotional and practical support to families during difficult times.

  • Collaborating effectively with your partner HCA to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Accurate and sensitive documentation of care provided.

What We Require From You:

  • Driving Licence: A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this community-based role.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a Healthcare Assistant role, with specific exposure to or a genuine passion for palliative/end-of-life care.

  • Training: Up-to-date mandatory training in line with current NHS requirements.

  • Insurance: Valid Business Insurance for your vehicle.

  • Clearance: Successful completion of Occupational Health clearance and all necessary immunisations.

  • Clinical Competence: Ability to demonstrate relevant clinical skills appropriate for a Band 2 HCA role.
