Are you looking for an ongoing contract as a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist? Evolve Staffing Ltd. is seeking a skilled professional for a Full Time position in Wisbech. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialized Adult SLT Team and make a significant difference in patient outcomes.

Clinical Scope:

– Working in Wisbech, you will assess and treat a wide range of adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.

Your expertise will be utilized in:

– Treating patients with respiratory conditions and voice difficulties.
– Managing caseloads involving stroke survivors and those with traumatic brain injuries.
– Providing specialist input for patients with dementia in community and residential settings.
– Addressing swallowing difficulties of unknown aetiology, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning.

Key Objectives:

– A primary goal of this role is to assist the Adult SLT Team in addressing long waiting lists
– You will work across diverse environments, from clinics and care homes to community hospitals
– Effective leadership is required, as you will delegate work and mentor more junior staff members

Requirements:

– Must hold a valid HCPC registration
– Significant experience in Adult Speech and Language Therapy.
– Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
